Planning for the future of the Hauraki Gulf is an important job – and a big one. Bringing different perspectives and diverse stakeholders to the table requires a team approach, so Sea Change – Tai Timu Tai Pari is being managed as a partnership.
Key project partners of Sea Change – Tai Timu Tai Pari are:
- Mana Whenua
- Auckland Council
- Waikato Regional Council
- Department of Conservation
- Ministry for Primary Industries
- Hauraki Gulf Forum.
These project partners are working closely with the Stakeholder Working Group, the Project Steering Group and the Project Board to develop the Hauraki Gulf Marine Spatial Plan towards the end of 2016.
The other key project partner is you. Sea Change – Tai Timu Tai Pari needs your ideas, visions and goals for the Hauraki Gulf.
